CRS SCHEME UNDER BIS

  • Compulsory Registration scheme is operated under the Bureau of Indian Standard regulation, 2018, as per the BIS Act 2016.
  • The scheme has identified a list of products and mandated them to be tested to comply with the standard requirements to ensure that Indian consumers are protected from substandard products.
  • REACT Compliance & Testing Laboratories is recognized by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) since 2015 under its Laboratory Recognition Scheme (LRS) for safety testing products mandated under the CRS scheme.
  • We are equipped to test the below products as per the requirements under the CRS scheme.

 

TELECOMUNICATION ENGINEERING CENTRE (TEC)

Under the Department of Telecommunications (Dot), Ministry of Communications And IT, Government of India
  • It has been mandated by the above authority that every telecom product must undergo testing and certification.
  • REACT Compliance & Testing Laboratories is Designated as a Conformity Assessment Bodies (CAB) by Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) under the Department of Telecommunication (Dot), Ministry of Communication And IT, Government of India for testing telecom products under the requirement of safety standard as per IS 13252 & IEC 60950

International Safety Standard for Audio/Video and IT equipment : IEC 62368-1

  • Testing cost for Equipments powered through mains is INR 65,000/- and cost for equipment powered through power adapters is INR 45,000/-.

Products under MTCTE as per SAFETY STANDARD:

  • Basic Devices: Fax machines (including Group 3), data modems, and cordless phones. 
  • Networking Equipment: Routers, LAN switches, IP security equipment, and IoT gateways. 

MNRE

  • Ministry of New and Renewal Energy(MNRE) has notified five products under Solar Photovoltaics, Systems, Devices, and Components Goods
  • We are equipped to test the below products as per the requirements.

PV INVERTER TESTING

DGCA

  • Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Ministry of Civil aviation under the certification scheme for unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) has issued a gazette notification that the Batteries used in Unmanned aircraft such as drones are required to comply with the regulatory requirements of MeitY.

DRONE BATTERY PERFORMANCE TESTING such as energy, power capability, and life cycle to be evaluated to full fill the requirements of technical criteria.

  • Drones are required to be evaluated for the level of protection against deterioration or loss of strength in operation due to any cause i.e., weathering, corrosion, and abrasion by subjecting the drones to an Environmental variation such as temperature and Humidity IS 9000 Part 2 & 3, IS 9000 Part 4 or IEC 60068–2–78 or equivalent standard based on the Manufacturers Test Plan.
  • Drones are also required to be verified against the manufacturer’s declared IP code and test as per IEC 60529 Ingress protection test in an accredited Test Lab.
  • REACT Compliance & Testing Laboratories hold the relevant accreditation to test the above requirements as per DGCA.
